City Limits Diner in White Plains

Diner style restaurant would be a better description. This place was great at one point. However, the menu has become stagnant, specially the breakfast. The lunch and dinner are better. Prices are higher than usual diner some things are worth it, others are rip offs. Choose carefully. Bathrooms are clean, service is good, parking could be better. All in all, I live right down the block and very seldom visit this place.

The food is delicious. The menu options are wide and various. Fresh fish. Friendly professional staff. Good brunch.

The City Limits Diner offers the best possible dining experience and it is an upscale place.We usually go here for family dinners and we really like this place.The staff is friendly and very cheerful.The food they serve is always delicious and of good quality.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience. The staff was so kind and accommodating. Food was very good....fresh and delicious. We would prefer not having to see the staff wear masks...it just wasn't the same as before this coronavirus debacle....

Don't be fooled by "Diner", because it's so much mote. Beautiful restaurant/ diner that adds a hint of Latino spice to it's menu setting it apart from your standard menu options. Don't like spice ? Not to worry - I went with my mom and we both will not eat anything hot or spicey. I would put the cheeseburger that I ate among my top 5 of all time ....Also, the entire staff was very friendly and attentive... Definitely a must try.

Excellent food, staff was great, offered free refills and very clean even the bathroom.

One of my favorite place to dine at, they have an awesome menu selection. And the service is one of a kind good. Check this place out when yo uget a chance.

The atmosphere is that of a proper restaurant. The menu has a mix of all-American, TexMex, European, and even Asian options. A bright, large space that is great for meeting friends when you don’t want to restrict the party to a particular cuisine.

Great diner to come anytime of the day. I enjoy coming with someone and putting them onto the restaurant, dishes and great service.

Place was crowded but did not have to wait too long to be seated. Based on other reviews I agree that prices are higher than your "regular" dinner. Some of the "breakfast" platters did not included egg, toast and hash browns like other dinners and the "add ons" add up a little pricey, like two scramble eggs for an extra $5. (Ouch!). Asked for an appetizer but the server brought it at the same time with the entree (too many plates on the table, not enough space To eat comfortably) Overall the ambiance was good and the taste of food, great! A good food experience from the ordinary dinner. They have baked goods by the front of restaurant and the staff is very welcoming!

The smoke house burger really surprise me,high quality bread with Angus beef .Everything is good,highly recommend.

Definitely good social distancing going on and the same great food we're used to.

The ambience, servers and presentation were all good. Do not have the giant hot dog. It's nothing like the menu sounds. Everything else was great, a little expensive but nice atmosphere.

The food is good. The salads feel under-sized for the price. The burgers are good but a little pricey. They don’t use fresh whole eggs in the omelettes. The service is very good. It’s busy on weekends but we did not have to wait long to be seated on a Sunday at 12:30pm.

We had a great experience! Some of their burgers are massive. I went with my girlfriend and her parents on a busy Sunday morning but the service was still incredible as was the food. I hope to return soon and try many more dishes

A truly amazing diner with incredibly delicious food and quick and attentive service. The place is very stylish and we loved the red leather booths. Food was better than we've ever had at a diner, and the children's menu is a hit with both kids.

The waitress was nice and friendly. The food was alright. Will go again to try something different. Was expecting the wow effect since one of the Comedians in cars having coffee was filmed here. Although I didn't have any coffee the dessert was delicious.

Did not like the food much. Pancakes were nice but the sandwiches and omelet were smelling alot like fish oil and blue cheese. Taste was okay but smell was terrible.I believe the staff can improve on making really nice omelets. The cappuccino was really amazing.

Classic diner with good coffee and modern, clean environment. We ordered from the breakfast selection, but lunch/dinner is also available. Service was attentive and friendly. Overall nice venue, would go again.

The food came out quickly. The service was adequate, a tiny bit slow on drink refills and waiter service, especially seeing they were only 10% full. Food was very good, past diner food. Came out just the way it was ordered. Decor never seems to get old even though it's still the same as it was when they opened in '94 I think. Very clean and worth the visit. Oh and FREE and valet parking a must in the White Plains area nowadays.

We are traveling to NY from Canada. We discovered this restaurant last year. On this trip, we made sure that we included eating here. The food is tasty and plentiful. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive. Even though the word Diner is in the name, it is far from a diner experience. Eat here!

If you’re looking for a high-end diner, look no more. If you’re looking for your average run-of-the-mill joint, this isn’t for you. This diner does everything netter than good enough. The steaks are good enough to satisfy a steak craving, the burgers are great and good enough to satisfy a burger craving, etc. etc.

This is one of my favorite food places and my go to place when in or near White Plains N.Y.. It may be a 'diner' but I assure you the food is anything but the typical diner fair.

The food was great. Portion size was big so I had to take the rest home. It was a busy Saturday night but we waited only 15 minutes for a table for 6 people.

This is a great diner with lots of options. The place is very large so there’s plenty of seating. It was quite busy when I went, but we were seated immediately. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodated us throughout our visit. The menu had lots of options for breakfast and lunch. Our food tasted excellent and we all had a good time. This diner is a great place for families or other large groups.
